Inspired by a classic 1930's fishing rowing skiff but built with today's material and technology. The "Dandy 17" is hand laid in Maine by some of the industries finest craftsmen. The hull features 100 %  "Vinyl ester" layup with waterproof composite stringers, transom and deck. Underneath the self draining deck is a complete pour of closed cell polyurethane foam for absolute stiffness as well as full flotation. The beautiful "Eye Catching Classic Lines" of the hull with its sharp entry and gently rounded chine allows her to be driven effortlessly through the water utilizing low horsepower gas or electric outboards. Even oars! For example, with the standard Yamaha 25 the "Dandy 17" easily attained 20 knots. These are custom "One Off" hulls allowing for complete flexibility in the finished product. Don't let One Off deter your decision however. We estimate a production rate of one hull per week. Choose from center console or tiller control. Many seating and storage configurations available to meet your personal needs.
